Casamance Au Présent
Appointment in Casamance, in southern Senegal. Casamance to the Present (CAP) is an agency responsible tourism offering excursions and the original circuits, the closest of the local population and its customs. Through its offers, Cape values all facets of cultural and environmental heritage of the Casamance, away from the hustle and bustle and tourist spots in the region. From 2015, the Senegalese Agency makes excursions and tours in collaboration with its partners local, proud to discover the richness of their region to travelers.
Casamance in the Present offers from 2 to 12 days, customizable and thematic circuits. They organize initially Dakar, or directly from Ziguinchor, the Casamance capital. In the company of experts and local guides, browse by canoe from island to island, live like Robinson Crusoe, go to the discovery of the Casamance ecosystem or immerse yourself in a Diola village.
At the start of Ziguinchor, franco-senegalaise team of CAP also offers half-day or all-day excursions. Program: immersion in a Bush village, night homestay, fishing canoe, cooking workshop or even with a Griot, storyteller and traditional musician.
A single trip and a change of scenery!
Casamance in the Present is part of a joint project. Member relay of ATES (Association for tourism fair and solidarity), the Agency reverse all its profits to the future to the Present association, in order to contribute to the financing and the development of its various social programs the destination for the most vulnerable populations. Created in 2012, the franco-senegalaise association has opened a drop-in Centre for children of the streets, a House of Education to get back on the way to school girls in a work situation, a health program giving free access to care to all the children of the city and assistance to older people isolated.
Of course, all tours and excursions are mounted with local partners respectful population Senegalese and the natural ecosystem of Casamance.
